I realized I haven't posted since day 254 (9-15-11), but been busy with stuff & getting my photos ready for my blue show at the Teaneck Library in Oct.
I was at my parents house today & when I was in my car getting ready to leave I noticed this in my rear view mirror & thought it was a person sitting there with the Jason mask on at first then I realized it was just on the headrest on its own. Some people really get into Halloween alot!!
I was inspired by reading a friend's blog about how in the new year everyday she wanted to read more, pray, take a photo etc. The "take a photo" struck me and I thought that's a great idea and since I love photography it's a great way to keep me motivated and capture something new! So I started this on 1/5/11 & I reached a year on 1/4/12 & although I don't post everday all the time I still post when something catches my eye & I want to share it!

Take a Picture - Day 254 - Chew on this
Tonight a friend of ours came to our house to drop of a DVD (Coming to America) that he was letting us borrow. He also happens to work or a company that makes gum & had some boxes of gum that he was allowed to take home & let me take what I wanted. I think this supply will last me about 6 months maybe???

Take a Picture - Day 253 - Blast Gallery in Teaneck
Today after visiting the Teaneck Library (to check out the space where I'm putting up my blue photos & Kermit collection) I was driving up Cedar Lane & noticed this mannequin with a horses head outside & a sign that said Blast and wondered what that was.
When I came home I googled it and discovered it was an art gallery that also was a retail store as well. I went back tonight to visit and met with Scott the owner & gave him my business card to possibly display my photography there.
I also bought this cool camera while I was there as well. Hopefully I can still find 35mm film in stores, if not there is always online!
So come check this creative place out for yourself!

Take a Picture - Day 247 - animal discovery
Today at work outside we discovered a tiny little turtle. I guess with all the rain it got washed up on the outside of the building. I never seen a tail like that on a turtle before, we think it's a alligator turtle or a snapping turtle, but still cute no matter what kind it is!

Take a Picture - Day 244 - (9/5/11) -Lazy Labor Day
Yesterday since it was Labor day I totally was lazy & didn't do anything (kinda like the Bruno mars song: "Today I don't feel like doing anything!"). Except for finally finding a spot for my other collection I have (mini bottles) right in my top shelf in the kitchen. So far the count is 53 including the two I recently picked up on my vacation (constitution in a bottle & decaration of independce in a bottle)!
