Scary Advertising

For the past few months I've been passing this by everday on my way to work along route 46 in Lodi.

Usually you want your mascot advertisement to lure customers in, not steer them away lol lol

Sure...get your free brake check before the killer clown gets you!!

Hydrangea

This is just outside in our driveway & I wanted to capture the awesome dual color tone that this has before it fades away.  Also I took this with my camera phone & was amazed at the quality and the size of the photo which was 1.8 mb!

ducks crossing

I was at the movie theater (AMC theater in Ridgefield Park) with my mom this morning and saw these guys crossing right in front of my path.  How cute!

In Bloom

Well its the first day of spring (& my b-day too!) so I went to the the Bergen County Zoo & was so amazed to see the cherry blossoms blooming already.  I guess with the mild winter we had it an earlier arrival.

Take a Picture - Bad name for a product

Saw this on the ground at work today, have no idea what this product is for!  LOL

Take a Picture - Really..........

its the end of February & these two houses still have christmas lights & trees up.

Come on already people!

Thumbs Updates

Well it's been exactly 1 month since I last posted a photo of the day & I'm ok with that and kinda done with that for now since I got past my year mark.

I've also been working on finishing up a craft project that I had an idea about like 2 years ago & finally started it 4 month ago ( I will be posting pics with that as soon as its done).

I'm also adding more merchandise to my zazzle site including a full line of necklaces to choose from............see here!

Also, I have thought of a new photo challenge for me to do for the month of March so stay tuned for that as well & new tweaks to this site too !

Happy Shooting..................................................pictures that is!!!

Take a Picture - Day 383 - 1st Snow of 2012

This was taken in my driveway!

Can't wait for it to melt away!

Take a Picture - Day 379 - rainbow slicks

I love how these beautiful rainbow slicks are formed by dirty oil!

Take a Picture - Day 372 - Penny

I got this penny back in my change the other day & notice the colorfulness of it!  This penny I will actually keep & not spend!

Take a Picture - Day 369 - Sunset Clouds

I took these shots while in the car while Tom was driving along the highway, the first two I used the sunset mode on my camera which adds a warmer hue to the clouds, the last one was taken with the sports mode on my camera!

Take a Picture - Day 366 - Winter Blue

This color of this tree is how I feel about the cold weather lol :)

Take a Picture - Day 365 - Sparks Fly

So this is it my 365th day of my photo of day blog & while I didn't exactly do every single day, I'm glad I stayed with it & have been having fun!  Here is today's photo!  Enjoy!

Take a Picture - Day 364 - Kaleidoscope

Made my own kaleidoscope images taking macro shots of my fiber optic Christmas decoration.

Here are the many colors & patterns that I created:

Take a Picture - Day 363 - puddle inkblot

Saw this on the ground today & to me it looked like a dog maybe.  What do you see?

Take a Picture - Day 362 - New Year, New Day, New Picture

Well this year I will try to be a little bit better with my take a picture of the day & not skip so many days in row.  So I'm starting the year off right by posting a new pic of my favorite ornament of mine that will soon be coming down.  It's too big for my mini Christmas tree but I have it hanging down from my ceiling fan chain.  Took it with the flash & without the flash & you can see the difference.

Also for the new year I will be (for now) exhibiting at the Cliffside Park Library in June & the Cresskill Library in July.  I'm trying to book an eariler month so I can finish out my color series with purple & not have to wait until June.

Take a Picture - Day 361 - Last Pic of 2011

Well today I'm going to do exactly what the picture I took today.............

I got this shirt at Old Navy & I don't know if you can notice but the top of the bottle it lights up with movement.

Also, its another reason to celebrate a good year in photography because:

• I did 7 photography exhibits throughout different Libraries in Bergen County
• Created websites to sell my photography merchandise on & made a couple of sales
• Created & pretty much kept up with my take a picture a day blog - I'm closing in on a year in a few days!

So Happy New Year to all & Celebrate!

Take a Picture - Day 358 - Hockey Highlights

Tonight Tom & I went the Devils vs Sabers hockey game at the rock tonight. We got the tickets from my brother in law who has season tickets!  It was my first hockey ever & the seats were good (section 5 row 4 seats 1 &2).  The devils ended up winning 3-1 & plus there was a fight too.  Here are the highlights:

Love the Zamboni machine, they had guests riding it too!

The Mascot himself, the jersey devil

Best Goalie ever!  Martin Brodeur #30

Fight Fight!

that move cost him the penalty box for 10 min!!

Take a Picture - Day 355 - Merry Christmas!

As I said on my facebook profile before...."ahh nothing is better on Christmas morning than yule log on TV (ch 11)!!"

Take a Picture - Day 354 - Christmas Eve

Tom & I took a walk in our town so I can get a picture of some of my favortie & unique Christmas Decorations!  Here they are!

Not your typical Christmas decor but I guess more of a tribute since John Lennon did pass away this month.  I saw this last year too & it was taken down before I took a photo of it.  This year the Imagine sign is new addition!

Of course I had to take a picture of this, its too bad that not all the lights work!

This one just brings back memories for me when I had & used my own snoopy snow cone machine, it was the best!
