So what does one do when you have a bunch of rocks that you've been collecting since you were younger and never really displayed them and had an Ikea item that you can't return because its not in the system anymore so its yours to keep.

Awesome! I used to collect rocks too; my favorite place to go was the Rock & Gem Store up in Lafayette Village. I don't know what happened to my collection after we moved; I don't remember packing them so I guess they got misplaced. I remember that my favorite piece was a super smooth light pink rose quartz, and I also remember having two pieces of jade from my grandpa.
